Ball Sponsorships

by Joe Dinoffer - February 29, 2008

We’ve all seen tennis balls imprinted to promote a sponsor.  What you may not have realized is that ball sponsorships can partially or fully offset all expenses in running tournament events, thereby increasing profits. And, beyond just sponsoring an event, how about acquiring annual sponsors and use balls promoting those sponsors in all activities, such as clinics, leagues, tournaments, or lessons?  You will probably find it’s relatively simple to get a local sponsor excited about that much guaranteed exposure all year round.  An example might be a large chain of pizza restaurants or a well-known local retailer who may see the benefit from this type of joint promotion.  Remember the old saying: a penny saved is a penny earned and certainly the value of an annual ball sponsor is at least several thousand dollars. Instead of spending that money on balls, you’ll be saving it, making that saved expense just like several thousand dollars earned.
